21.06 THIRT CALL FOR PROJECTS ARISLA 2011

Thirt Call for Projects AriSLA 2011:

presented 55 project proposal.

By the end of 2011 the winners will be selected.

Wednesday, June 15 ended the third call launched by AriSLA for  "Research Projects on ALS 2011".

We received 55 project proposal for a overall economic request of more than euro 7 ml .

News of the call was the specific focus to innovative and experimental ideas: the Call included a section for pilots (Pilot grant) and the response of the scientific community - in particular young researchers - was immediate and positive: 39 proposals , for an economic request of about 2.300.00 euros, for a total value of almost euro 3 ml.

Pilot grants characteristic is the original research hypothesis, with no preliminary data or with data to be consolidate: the needs to explore innovative forms of research represents another opportunity for AriSLA to reach the goal to defeat the disease, through courageous and far-sighted choice!

The Full Proposal instead represent a total economic request of more than 4 ml euros for 16 proposals received.
