I revisori selezionano i progetti valutandone gli aspetti di qualità, originalità, innovazione e fattibilità.
Dal 2009 hanno collaborato con la Fondazione nel processo di valutazione delle proposte di ricerca 131 ricercatori di base e/o clinici, provenienti da Europa, Stati Uniti d’America, Canada e altri paesi.
Ai membri dell’ISC viene richiesto di garantire l’assenza di conflitti di interesse per ogni proposta progettuale ricevuta e di mantenere la confidenzialità in merito a tutte le informazioni con le quali vengono in contatto.
Per minimizzare il rischio di conflitti di interesse, tutti questi esperti non lavorano in Italia.
